Since 1996, The Preps have been tearing through stages across the U.S., delivering fast, hook-driven punk rock with no brakes. Known for explosive live shows and unforgettable choruses, the band is celebrating 30 years by hitting the road on the Fool Records “No Rules” Tour and dropping a brand-new EP this spring.
Frontman and founder Fat Lou brings snarling vocals and gritty rhythm to every stage. A true punk rock lifer, he’s spent decades booking tours, running Fool Records, and pushing the underground forward while giving back to the community. His presence drives every crowd — loud, raw, and relentless.

On bass, John Knepper locks in the backbone of The Preps’ sound with tight, punchy lines and a wild edge. His playing blends precision with chaos, fueling the band’s heartbeat and keeping every set dialed in and driving forward.

Behind the kit, IHG delivers fast-paced precision with a melodic twist. Combining relentless energy with harmonic backing vocals, he keeps the chaos controlled and the momentum unbreakable — a powerhouse that keeps crowds hooked from the first hit to the last.
