From 2001 to 2014, Fool Records released multiple records and compilations, hosted unforgettable events like the Fatfest Music Festival, and helped bands hit the road and reach new audiences. We worked hard, packed rooms, and gave artists a platform when opportunities were limited. Those years helped shape a network of musicians, venues, and fans that still fuels the scene today.

As life got busier and time became harder to find, the label gradually slowed down. Eventually, Fool Records slipped off the radar.

But the story doesn’t end there.

Today, we have the drive, the support, and the resources to bring Fool Records back the right way. The fire never went out — it just needed the right moment to reignite. We’ve already started putting things back in motion, including hosting the Mosh for Meals event, which was a huge success for both the music community and the cause it supported. We’re actively working with venues and show promoters to create stronger opportunities for bands and to rebuild the kind of scene we all want to be part of.

Moving forward, the focus is simple:
Work hard.
Put on great events.
Grow the scene.
Help our friends’ bands get heard.

We’re currently assembling a new compilation featuring original artists that showcase the strength, diversity, and energy of today’s underground music scene. In true old-school fashion, it will first be released on physical cassette and CD — followed by a full digital release — because we still believe in holding music in your hands.

The mission remains the same as it was in 2001: build the scene, support each other, and make sure everyone is heard.
